Bentyl is developed by Talbot Weaving, a fabric manufacturer in Lancashire, England.
It is a traditional fabric originally developed for military wear by the British Army.

Although it is 100% cotton, it is high-density and has a high number of knots, and the fibers swell when immersed in water, providing outstanding waterproof and water-repellent properties that do not allow water to penetrate further.
The production of the yarn requires extra-long staple cotton with long fibers, and the amount of yarn used is large, so it is actually very rare and valuable.
